Simrita has extensive international experience in consumer and financial services public relations as a PR consultant. Over the years, she has developed considerable skills and knowledge relating to the management and successful execution of PR initiatives through effective communication and media relations.

Simrita began her career with Perfect Relations, one of India’s leading PR firms, as an Account Executive. She later worked with Burson Marsteller at its New Delhi office (www.genesispr.com) where she successfully managed and serviced an account portfolio of clients including United Colors of Benetton, BBC World, National Geographic Channel and New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

Prior to joining Shed, Simrita worked for InvestorInfo Pty Ltd in Sydney as a Conference Producer where she was involved in PR and Events Marketing.

Simrita graduated from the University of New Delhi with a Bachelor of History and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from the London School of Public Relations.
